Going Down The Stretch
Well everyone, it's that time of the year again; NFL Draft is upon us, conference championships are around the corner, and the BCS National Championship is a couple months away. So far, a lot of talk has been going around the league with Cam Newton and his father at the center of it all. Oregon is steadily blowing teams out of the ocean with no regard for human life. Auburn has done pretty well even in the craziness around Cam Newton. How will the rest of this season play out? We will never know.

OSU's Lack Of Challenging Teams On Their Schedule
As recent years have gone by, I notice how OSU has always seemed to look good against teams that aren't really much of a challenge to anybody. OSU this season has played teams that aren't even considered national championship calliber teams. For example; Marshall (1-4, 0-1), Eastern Michigan (0-5, 0-3), and Ohio (2-3, 1-1). The only challenging team, if possible, was Miami (FL)(3-1,1-0) and they didn't even tremble against the 'Canes. I see that OSU has a habit of picking one team just to give themselves sometime type of edge before they go into conference play. I honestly think this type of behavior will catch up to them and they will eventually pay for it dearly. Till then I guess, we will continue to see OSU blowout teams by 50 points and wait till some super underdog team pulls the upset.

Boise's BCS Hunt
As we all know, Boise St. has ripped through teams to get some national attention. Well, now they have it and demand to be in the BCS National Championship game. I personally don't think they deserve to do so simply because they have yet to play the OSUs, the Texas', the USCs, the Floridas, so on and so forth. Also, they play in one of the most weakest confernces in the country. As for thier schedule for this year they played Virginia Tech (which I feel has flopped now) who lost to D I-AA James Madison the following week after thier loss to the Broncos. I can't really say much about Oregon State because I have not seen the rest of thier season play out. In cunclusion, Boise St. will just have to move to a bigger and better conference in order to really get National Championship consideration. Let me know what you think.
